Perpetual-futures positioning from Hyperliquid · DYDX-PERP
Funding is positive at +11.0%/yr, so long positions are paying shorts — leverage on Hyperliquid is currently skewed bullish. Persistent positive funding can precede long-squeeze pullbacks.
Perpetual-futures data from Hyperliquid, the leading on-chain perp DEX. Funding is paid hourly; a positive rate means long holders pay shorts. Derivatives positioning is informational, not a trade signal.
About dYdX
dYdX (DYDX) is a cryptocurrency, traded on global digital-asset markets. Live market data for dYdX is temporarily unavailable, so the price, market-capitalisation and ranking figures on this page will populate automatically once a fresh data feed is available — no placeholder values are shown in the meantime.
dYdX gives holders governance over one of the established DeFi protocols. Token value depends on protocol revenue, TVL, user growth, and the credibility of the governance process. Treat the token as equity in the protocol.
How it works — dYdX
dYdX is a DeFi governance token: ownership of the token confers voting rights over the underlying protocol's parameters (fees, listed assets, treasury allocation) and, in some cases, a share of protocol revenue. The value of the token tracks the protocol's utility and revenue — not the price of any underlying asset.
Use cases — dYdX
The token is mainly used to vote on protocol decisions, to earn fee-shares or rebates where revenue is distributed to stakers, as collateral on lending venues (for the larger names), and simply as a way to hold exposure to the protocol's growth.

Crypto Fear & Greed Index · alternative.me
The Crypto Fear & Greed Index aggregates volatility, market momentum, social media activity, dominance and Google Trends data into a single 0–100 score updated daily. Today's reading is 25 — Extreme Fear.
Extreme fear (below 25) historically signals buying opportunities for contrarians, while extreme greed (above 75) often precedes corrections. The index works best as one input among many, not as a standalone trading signal.
Macro & cross-asset context
How macro liquidity and cross-asset moves frame the trade
At the top of the macro stack sit interest rates, dollar liquidity and risk appetite, and crypto has tended to amplify all three. Easing financial conditions and a weaker dollar have historically pulled the sector up; tightening liquidity and a firmer dollar have reliably pulled it back down.
To read crypto in a wider context, keep an eye on four markets — the dollar, where strength typically pressures risk assets; long-dated Treasury yields, which set the discount rate on future cash flows; gold, sometimes a parallel hard-money bet; and US equities, frequently correlated with crypto during liquidity-driven swings despite the popular "uncorrelated" label.
For dYdX specifically, the macro variable that has empirically led price most often is global crypto-market liquidity — proxied by stablecoin total supply, futures open interest, and exchange volumes. When these expand, DYDX tends to follow; when they contract, the relationship typically reverses.
Risks
The risks are protocol-specific: a smart-contract exploit can drain the treasury and dilute holders, a governance attack can capture voting power, revenue rises and falls with the DeFi cycle, rival protocols compete for the same liquidity, and the regulatory status of governance tokens is still unsettled.
