About Us
Our Mission
Founded in 2019, stnews.live is an independent digital media publication dedicated to covering the cryptocurrency, blockchain, and Web3 ecosystem with journalistic rigor and editorial independence. We believe the decentralized technology revolution deserves reporting that is accurate, transparent, and free from the influence of advertisers, sponsors, or token projects.
Our mission is simple: deliver the news that matters, explain the technology that is reshaping finance, and hold powerful actors in the crypto space accountable — whether they are exchanges, protocols, regulators, or venture capital firms.
What We Cover
Our editorial scope includes Bitcoin and cryptocurrency markets, decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, blockchain infrastructure and Layer 2 scaling solutions, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and digital collectibles, Web3 applications and the metaverse, central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), cryptocurrency regulation and policy worldwide, institutional adoption and enterprise blockchain, on-chain analytics and data-driven research, and security vulnerabilities, exploits, and audits.
Our Newsroom
Our team of over 30 journalists, analysts, researchers, and engineers works around the clock from bureaus spanning 14 countries. The newsroom operates under a strict separation between editorial and business functions. No advertiser, sponsor, or third party has ever influenced, reviewed, or approved our editorial content prior to publication.
Our editorial leadership brings decades of combined experience from institutions including Bloomberg, Reuters, the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, and the Associated Press. Every reporter undergoes a thorough onboarding process that includes training in blockchain technology, on-chain verification methods, and our editorial standards.
Editorial Standards
Every article published on stnews.live adheres to our published Editorial Standards and Ethics Policy. In brief, all factual claims require verification from at least two independent sources, we always seek comment from the subjects of critical reporting before publication, author cryptocurrency holdings are disclosed in a public registry updated quarterly, and corrections are issued prominently and promptly when errors are identified.
For complete details, please read our Ethics Policy.
Recognition
Our work has been recognized by the Digital Media Awards, the Society of Professional Journalists, and the Online News Association. Our investigative reporting has been cited by Bloomberg, Reuters, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, and TechCrunch. Several of our investigations have led to regulatory action and law enforcement involvement.
Revenue Model
stnews.live generates revenue through display advertising, sponsored content (clearly labeled), premium research subscriptions, and events. We never accept payment in exchange for favorable coverage. Sponsored content is always marked with a prominent “Sponsored” or “Partner Content” label and is produced by a separate commercial content team that does not interact with the newsroom.
