Conflicts of Interest
Staff and contributors must disclose any financial holdings in assets they cover. Editors with conflicts recuse themselves from related coverage decisions.
Gifts & Hospitality
Staff may not accept gifts, travel, or hospitality from projects or companies they cover. Exceptions for nominal items (under $50) must be disclosed.
Sponsored Content
Sponsored or partner content is clearly labeled with a “Sponsored” badge. Sponsored content does not influence independent editorial coverage.
Plagiarism
Plagiarism in any form results in immediate termination. All content must be original or properly attributed.
Anonymous Sources
Anonymous sources are used sparingly and only when the information is in the public interest and cannot be obtained otherwise. The identity of the source must be known to at least one editor.
